Race regulations

Entry
Men and women with UCI racing licences (Italian and other Elite, Under23, Juniors), amateurs with Federazione Ciclistica Italiana licences or other bodies, recreational cyclists who can present a medical certificate confirming their aptitude for sporting activities.

Trails
The 10th Transeuganea will be raced on the Classic trail (51 km, elevation: 1,400 metres), the Easy Race short trail (23 km, elevation: 600 metres) and the new Marathon trail (74 km, elevation: 1,800 metres).

Registration
Registrations must be made on the online registration form. The registration fee is set at € 25.
Registrations close on giovedě 5 maggio 2005 .
REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER giovedě 5 maggio 2005 . FCI licence holders who do not specify their affiliation with the FCI will be registered as unlicensed riders to start with the recreational riders.

Payment methods
The registration fee must be paid online by credit card on the Registrations page of www.transeuganea.com. Registrations will be refused if incomplete or submitted after the closing date.

Start
The first group for the Marathon course (74 km) will start at 8.30 am in Piazza Mercato in Bresseo di Teolo.
The Classic (51 km) race will follow in bunches with adjusted finish times.
The Easy race starts at 9.30 am.
Starting order and race numbers will be allocated according to order of registration.
The Marathon starting order will see the Elite racers starting in the first group, followed by the Top Class racers, MTB Challenge circuit racers and the first 100 finishers in the Transeuganea 2004.
The Classic race will follow with the same starting order and then the Easy race.
Riders may only start in the race that they selected at the time of registration.
Any rider who races on another course than that which they registered for will be considered to have withdrawn and will not receive a finishing time.
Any rider who does not register on the day or pass obligatory checkpoints on the course will automatically be disqualified and will not receive a finishing time.
The maximum arrival time is set at 2.30 pm.
After this time, services will not be guaranteed. For the Marathon race, a further deadline of 11 am at the 2nd feed zone. Racers clocking in after this time will not be allowed to complete the 74-km Marathon course and will be asked to return to the start via the Classic course. They will not receive a finishing time.

Race-day registration check
A licence and registration check will take place in Piazza Mercato in Bresseo di Teolo on Saturday 7 May from 2.30 pm to 7.00 pm and Sunday 8 May from 6.30 am to 8.00 am. Race numbers, championship timing chips and race packs will only be allocated to riders who present their payment receipt and licence (for licensed racers). Recreational racers must produce the original or a photocopy of their medical certificate.

Race Support
Mechanical support is available at the start and in three zones around the course. Changing rooms - showers - bike wash - 4 feed zones around the course and pasta party at the finish. Massage service.

Liability
When registering, all racers confirm that they have read the Race regulations, which they agree to adhere to without reserve. The racers also absolve the Race management, NonSoloBike and partners from all responsibility for any accidents that may occur before, during and after the event. The Italian Road Code will apply during races.
Hard-shell helmets must be worn at all times during the race.
Race Management reserves the right to modify the Race Regulations and courses if necessary to ensure that the event runs smoothly.
Unless otherwise specified in the above Race Regulations, the FCI regulations apply.
